❓FAQs
Why was my account banned?
We’ve reviewed your account activity and found evidence of engagement manipulation (“botting”), which violates our platform’s fair use and anti-cheating policies. This includes artificially inflating engagement on campaign posts and subsequently deleting the content to conceal the activity. Such behavior is strictly prohibited on BlockBook to ensure a fair environment for all creators. As a result, your account has been permanently banned and will no longer be eligible for participation or monetization on the platform. We understand this may be disappointing, but our moderation and fraud detection systems are in place to protect the integrity of the community. This decision is final. If you believe this is a mistake, you can contact us at support@blockbook.app for further clarification.
Why is my contribution not earning in this Spark?
We’ve checked your submission, and the reason it is not generating earnings is that the Spark campaign you posted under has no budget left. Once the budget (reward Pool) for a Spark is fully consumed, no further earnings can be calculated for new contributions under that campaign. We recommend keeping an eye on active Sparks with available budgets to maximize your earnings opportunities.
Why am I not earning from my posts?
Your posts start earning once they are approved by the brand. The review process can take up to 72 hours. After approval, you’ll receive an email notification, and your content will begin earning based on the engagement and impressions it receives across the channels you post to. Earnings update daily — so as your performance grows, so do your rewards. In some cases, content showing suspicious growth may be set aside for review by our moderators. When this happens, your earnings will be paused until the review is complete, after which they will either resume or be flagged if the content violates our guidelines.
Why was my post not approved or passed moderation?
Every submission goes through a moderation process to ensure it meets the campaign’s guidelines and community standards. Posts may be declined if they: • Do not match the campaign brief (wrong format, missing elements, off-topic). • Are missing required hashtags, mentions, or branding. • Contain low-effort, spammy, or duplicate content. • Are private, deleted, or inaccessible. • Violate TikTok/X or BlockBook’s content policies (e.g., inappropriate or harmful material). To maximize your chances of approval, please make sure your content follows the brief, is original, relevant to the campaign, includes all required tags, and is publicly visible.
Do follower counts matter for earnings?
No. Our system rewards creators based on real engagement, not follower count. If your posts consistently get low likes, comments, or views, it may indicate inactive followers. Focus on genuine interactions and active Spark campaign participation.
Why did my viral post not get rewarded?
We sometimes see posts with high reach that: • Were not linked to an active Spark campaign • Or showed unnatural engagement boosts (e.g., mass retweets/shares from inactive accounts). 👉 To qualify, ensure your post is aligned with a campaign and your reach comes from a genuine audience.
Why was my post flagged for generic comments?
Our system reviews comment quality. If most replies are: • Identical copy-paste comments • Or coming from new/inactive accounts …it may signal bot-like behavior. Encourage authentic conversations for better trust and earnings.
Why are my earnings delayed?
Earnings typically reflect within 24–72 hours after approval. • Some campaigns may take longer due to review or bonus structure.
👉 Thank you for your patience — your rewards are on the way. Why Does my Boosted Content not get moderated or approved? Boosted content gives your submission priority in the queue, making it instantly visible to the brand. If the brand takes longer to moderate, there may still be delays — but once they review, your content will be prioritized above all others. Keep in mind: boosting does not guarantee approval. If your submission doesn’t meet the campaign guidelines, it can still be declined. Make sure you carefully follow the rules to maximize your chances.
Why was my content flagged for suspicious growth?
GIMI has developed a robust AI moderation system designed to detect farming and botted engagement or impressions. It draws on extensive datasets and past platform experience to prevent users from trying to game the system. The model also distinguishes between genuine viral content and artificial activity. In some cases, it can be difficult to determine automatically, so our human moderators step in for closer review to decide whether content should continue earning or not. If you believe your content has been flagged incorrectly, please open a ticket in our Discord channel or email support@blockbook.app with your profile link and a description of the issue.
Will I get a refund from resubmission if my content wasn’t approved?
Unfortunately, no. Resubmission spend is in place to prevent spamming and overcrowding campaigns. As long as you carefully follow the campaign guidelines, you shouldn’t need to worry about this.
