📄Story Protocol — White Paper IRL

Turning a manifesto into a movement.

Overview

Story Protocol, the groundbreaking Layer-1 for on-chain intellectual property, set out to prove that ideas don’t belong in PDFs — they belong in people. Instead of announcing their vision through static documents or paid ads, the team wanted to show what decentralized creativity looks like in motion.

They partnered with GIMI to launch a campaign that turned a white paper into a living piece of art. The mission was simple yet daring: bring the Story Protocol White Paper to life.

The Campaign

Over three weeks, Story Protocol invited creators from around the world to print out the white paper and interpret it through performance, art, and imagination. The only rule was to make it real — to take the principles of open IP and express them through human creativity.

The results were extraordinary. From Seoul to São Paulo, creators filmed, danced, animated, narrated, and even wore the white paper like armor. What began as an educational activation became a worldwide creative statement about ownership, expression, and belief in an open creative economy.
